This is a complete Suzuki Grand Vitara II Lift Kit, consisting of front MCPherson spacers with bolts and nuts, rear shock absorber spacers and rear polyurethane spring washers. The kit also includes two spacers that attach the upper pad of the front shock absorbers – they should be inserted into the steel spacer of the front Macphersons. Fits 3- and 5-door versions and all engine versions.
The kit improves entry, departure and breaking angles and allows the fitment of larger tires without impairing the vehicle’s handling in paved corners. After installing this lift, the car will be much easier to overcome major terrain obstacles.
The advantage of our kits is also the fact that if shock absorbers or springs wear out and need to be replaced, there is no need to buy much more expensive lifting elements because we always install standard shock absorbers and springs in our kits, of which there is a much larger selection and much lower prices, but above all, everyone has no problems with availability.
We start the assembly by disassembling the front McPherson struts and removing the mounting pins (top). Instead, we insert the longer pins from the kit, put front steel spacers on them along with small spacers for the shock mounts (upper mount) and bolt the whole thing to the vehicle. We install polyurethane spring washers on the rear axle and screw the shock absorber spacers to their upper mounts. For cars with xenon lights, the light control sensor on the rear axle must be extended.
After mounting the lift, the suspension geometry should be measured and possibly corrected. In most cases, you need eccentric screws to adjust the wheel camber angle, also available from us (index: LSSM3).
